About the Journal

The Moses Kotane Institute Journal (MKIJ) is an online open-access journal, established informally in 2020 by the Moses Kotane Institute. In 2021, the journal rebranded and was formalized to publish at least two issues per year continuously on article-by-article. MKIJ publishes both theoretical and empirical economic research focusing primarily on six sectors: Information Communication Technology (ICT), Maritime and Ocean Economy, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Rural and Township Economy, and Green Economy.
